I started doing mini dental implants back in, oh my goodness, probably 1989, 90, when they first came out. I fell in love with them because they solved a problem that until then, it wasn't really solved. Back then, two stage implants were for the rich and famous in California and that was basically it. By doing mini implants in people who had dentures that didn't have enough bone for those teeth to stay in place, they couldn't chew. They couldn't talk. Well, guess what? I put in those little mini implants and they became my best referral source. They loved us, they sent all of their friends that had the same problem and it freed them from the shackles of dental adhesive which everybody that has a denture hates.

What Is A Mini Dental Implant?
Mini dental implants can replace your missing teeth at about half the size of a traditional dental implant. Their small size requires less bone to anchor them into place. Just like traditional dental implants, mini implants are made of titanium that is capable of fusing with your jawbone for a secure hold.
Why Should I Choose Mini Dental Implants Over Dentures?
At one point, if you couldn’t replace your missing teeth with dental implants, you had to turn to dentures. Now, mini dental implants are an excellent alternative to dentures. Not only do they require less bone than conventional implants, but they also won’t increase your rate of bone loss like traditional dentures do.
